The Champlain Heights Residents Association.

Do you have an interest in improving our community ? Then get involved with the Champlain Heights Residence Association. This group was  formed on October 20, 2011  and is now in the process of preparing plans to address concerns in the area around safety, neigborhood asthetics and community building. Get involved, this is your chance to make a difference and in the process make some new friends and have some fun.

The next meeting will be held on January 12 at 7:00 pm at the Community Centre.

The Champlain Heights Community School Playground Build - July 9, 2011

On July 9, 2011 over 300 dedicated community volunteers kindly donated their time and effort to construct a new playground at Champlain Heights Community School. In the course of building the playground those involved witnessed a powerful lesson in when a community has a vision they can achieve great things!

Annual " Keep the Heights Gorgeous Day".

There are ample opportunities to get involved in your neighbourhood and volunteer your time to create a more beautiful place to live. We all benefit when we work together to create a caring community. One  initiative is to create an annual event one weekend in May called  "Keep the Heights Gorgeous Day".

The plan is that we get together as a community in May and beautify the neighbourhood in various ways. It is our hope that this becomes an annual community event which ends with a potluck lunch. This year we have identified several spots that need to be cleaned up and repainted as well as two wooden signs that need replacement or repair.
