Located at 3350 Maquinna Drive, the Champlain Heights recreation centre is the hub of the Heights, and offers services and facilities for people of all ages.

In 2006, $2 million was spent to enlarge and update the facility.  A sample of the services found at The Champlain Heights recreation centre include:

•    Fitness centre
•    Gym
•    Playground
•    Sauna
•    Tennis and racquetball courts
•    Licensed out of school daycare 

The centre also offers numerous programs and activities for children, adults and seniors. A number of clubs operate out of the centre including Guiding and Scouting troops, Chinese school, St. John ambulance Cadets, Karate and Taekwondo.

Masonic Home

The Society of Royal Arch Masons was the sponsor and developer for the 151-bed personal and
intermediate care facility, located at 7850 Champlain Crescent.  In addition the Masonic apartments
located at 7780 Champlain crescent offers 75 self-contained units for seniors.

Kopernik lodge

The Polish community sponsored and built the Kopernik lodge at 3150 Rosemont drive. This 87
bed facility also offers an 18 bed special care unit for clients with Alzheimer's or other dementia.

and residential care
